Hipotekarna Bank contributes to the development of the community in many different ways, including both monetary donations and corporate responsibility initiatives that it either participates in or launches itself.
“Hipotekarna Bank, as a socially responsible company, is trying and has been trying to accommodate all the requests coming from citizens. We supported the initiative coming from the Health Care Fund and hope that other banks in Montenegro will follow in our steps and that in this way we will at least partly thank citizens of Montenegro and our clients, and make sure they have better health care services”, said Esad Zaimovic, Hipotekarna Bank executive director.
The Bank donated €20,000 and the rest was provided by the Health Care Fund of Montenegro. The ambulance will be used by the Emergency Unit in Podgorica.
Kenan Hrapovic, director of Health Care Fund of Montenegro, noted that: “The idea was that together with the Association of Banks of Montenegro we initiate the procurement of such a vehicle, reanimobile. Thanks to Hipotekarna Bank donation of €20,000 and the Health Care Fund added funds of € 25,000, we have managed to purchase this special vehicle. I would like to use this opportunity to also promote another new initiative and invite the Association of Banks to join us so that every town in Montenegro could have one such ambulance”.
