Hipotekarna Banka celebrated exceptional results by opening the latest, twentieth, branch office in the centre of Žabljak. Appreciating the importance of this tourist spot, taking into account the requests and desires of clients, and bearing in mind that Hipotekarna Banka is completely dedicated to the development and improvement of its relations with the population and the economy, a new modern branch office was opened in Žabljak.
The branch office in Žabljak is the continuation of the efforts of Hipotekarna Banka to improve the network of branch offices across Montenegro. The modern appearance, functionality and interior design done by the ANeMA architectural studio led by architect Anja Žunjić, focus on the clients’ needs while being thematically adapted to the atmosphere of Durmitor National Park.
Hipotekarna Banka has continuously invested in the latest banking services, and the residents and visitors of Žabljak will now be able to enjoy banking services of the highest quality in an authentic and modern setting.
Speaking to the present representatives of the local self-government and the business sector, Ana Golubović, Executive Director for Corporate and Financial Markets, reminded the audience of the remarkable results as of 30 September, including the balance sheet total of EUR 559 million, deposit portfolio of EUR 454 million and net profit of 7 million and 49 thousand euros. Regarding the opening of the Žabljak branch she said:
“The Žabljak branch is the crown achievement of our successful business operations in 2019. Žabljak’s potential, being one of the two mountain centres in the north of Montenegro, and investments that were announced in the coming period, represent a remarkable opportunity. We in Hipotekarna Banka believe that with our service quality and products we offer we can fulfil the needs not only of the local population and investors, but of all tourists visiting Žabljak.”
The president of the Municipality of Žabljak, Veselin Vukićević expressed his satisfaction with attending the opening of the new branch office of Hipotekarna Banka in Žabljak and stated the following:
“In addition to two banks that had already existed in Žabljak, we now have the Hipotekarna Banka, which is the best indicator that our efforts are leading us in the right direction. The construction of new hotels, and the development of economic and other potentials mean that we can be very satisfied and happy that our efforts were recognised by a bank of such capacity as Hipotekarna Banka, which concluded that it is in their best interest to open a branch office in Žabljak.”
Hipotekarna Banka, as a socially responsible company, traditionally helps local population and economy, and on this occasion the bank donated three thousand euros to the Mountain Rescue Service of Žabljak.
The representative of the Mountain Rescue Service, Zoran Vojinović, thanked Hipotekarna Banka for this donation and reminded how important such donations are for his mountain rescue service, which has actively participated in all rescue operations in the Municipality of Žabljak and elsewhere for thirty years.
The new premises in Žabljak will make the clients feel comfortable, and the professional and kind staff will provide efficient services to all clients of the bank.
We remind you that last year the branch offices in Berane, Bijelo Polje, Herceg Novi, and Budva were given a more modern appearance and additional functionalities, whereas a modern branch was opened in the Delta City shopping mall, as well as an exclusive office in the Portonovi tourist resort.
